KILCOV – All About Quality Manufacturing and Valid Science

We’re proud to offer the highest quality, most unique merchandise on the market today. From our family to yours, we put lots of love and careful attention in each item.
Here is a snapshot of ALL THINGS KILCOV

  1. Kilcov is a 100% Australian Brand. Every dollar you spend stays here in Australia to help your family, as well as ours, as we have done the same making Kilcov.
  2.  Kilcov’s Exceptional Quality leaves your hands feeling great and smelling naturally good, as well as the feeling of exceptional protection. Kilcov,: what we say to virus is: “Kill ’em Dead in Their Tracks!”
  3. So what’s the big deal with Gels and Liquids??
  4.  Gel is great for not spilling any content if placed in the palm of the hand. Sure.
  5. Liquid spills a few drops when placing in the palm of the hand. True. So what’s better?
  6. It takes approximately 11 seconds to cover 89% of the hand with a gel sanitizer.
  7. It takes KILCOV less than 3 seconds flat to cover 99.9% of both hands, including between the fingers, the thumbs and around the quick of the nails (around the cuticles)!
  8. For the sake of less than a mL here or there, liquid is an immensely efficient thoroughbred device for the job at hand.
  9. When speed and torque matters KILCOV beats them flat off the mark. It’s the difference between a Ferrari and just any ol’ car.
  10. KILCOV – efficient, powerful, fast and with aromatic elegance to boot!
  11. KILCOV – THE RIGHT SCIENCE FOR VIRAL AND BACTERIAL CONTROL
  12. Research concludes that the active ingredient that  Kilcov utilizes, AT THE CONCENTRATION OF COMPONENTS USED, positively indicates that KILCOV kills bacteria and most virus, including the devastating current one. Why?
  13. See what scientists at the University of California Lab say:
  14. “Ethyl alcohol kills bacteria mainly through 2 mechanisms: protein denaturation and dissolving the lipid membrane.
  15. “Proteins, the machinery of the cell, must be dissolved in water in order to properly function. When one puts a protein in ethanol (ethyl alcohol), the protein can not function properly and becomes denatured. Also, bacteria are surrounded by a lipid membrane (fatty acids). The membrane is held together because the alkane chain of a fatty acid is hydrophobic, and thus buries itself amongst other lipids. However, the lipids will freely dissolve in ethanol, causing a disruption of the bacterial membrane. This ruptures the bacteria so it can no longer live.
  16. “The way ethanol dissolves a cell membrane is by having one end that dissolves well in water (the one with the OH) and the other end that dissolves well in fatty/greasy like substances (the end with the CH2CH3). Bacteria cell membranes are like water on the outside and like fat on the inside, so when you apply ethanol to a cell membrane, instead of all the parts of the membrane sticking together, they’ll associate with the ethanol causing the membrane to fall apart.” FURTHERMORE:
  17. “In order for hand sanitizer to effectively kill germs, the sanitizer needs to contain above 60% of some kind of alcohol, and that the skin needs to be exposed for at least about 15 seconds to the alcohol in order for it to be effective. Typically, alcohols such as isopropanol, ethanol, or n-propanol are used as the active ingredients in hand sanitizers. Furthermore, it turns out that certain bacteria (the non-spore forming kind) are more susceptible to hand sanitizers than others.” Information reproduced by Permission: Reference: “ScienceLine, Materials Research Laboratory at the University of California Santa Barbara”. 18. ALSO IMPORTANTLY, MANY SCIENTISTS HAVE EXPLICITLY STATED THAT
  19. what KILCOV formulation employs, a nominal minimum 70% ethanol content, has been found to be most effective in killing microbes, and that higher or lower concentrations are not so effective in killing microbes, and that if your use much higher concentrations, then the ethanol active ingredient will evaporate far too fast and lose its effectiveness.
  20. To drive to point further, PURE OR EXTREMELY HIGH LEVELS OF ETHANOL will only partially or incompletely coagulate the protein of he microbe, because when high-level alcohol goes through the cell wall of the organism, protein coagulation action would be partial and stop due to premature alcohol evaporation. This means that before completing its mission, alcohol stops further and total penetrating into the cell, and no more coagulation would take place. At this time the cell would become inactive but not dead, and could “reactivate” and gain function once more. By DILUTING ethanol to say KILCOV’s 70 percent formulation, ethanol is slowed down long enough to not just coagulate cell protein, but continues all the way to the core, obliterating the #$%@# all the way to its core, where the harmful cell is coagulated and its organism dies.
  21. In Viruses that have a fatty outer layer such as the current dreaded one, essentially you are “killing” the virus, or more correctly, you are rendering the viral body inactive by stripping or denaturing its fatty surface outer layer, so it can no longer function as intended.
  22. KILCOV is ideal in its formulation where it strikes with a 70% effective ethanol content rate, plus it has the added essential ingredients for hand surface kindness… strong against bugs, kind to hands.
  23. Another aspect is the fact that the highest osmotic pressure of ethanol/water-mixtures is a 70/30 mix, again utilized by KILCOV.
  24. One more aspect of the KILCOV superiority is that by having the optimal ethanol content of 70% this reduces the inflammability and other dangers, from that of a 90% or higher level.
  25. KILCOV 70% ethanol Australian-made, plant-based origin of ethanol used in KILCOV makes it less dangerous, and more environmentally friendly
  26. SO IT IT CLEAR THAT having a hand sanitizer that is very high in ethanol will not work because it evaporates too quickly. Having a concentration level too low will not penetrate enough. Which is why we produce KILCOV at the benchmark of 70% high grade ethanol, coupled together with hand moisturizers and only the best of natural essential oils.
  27. Kilcov Use: All Kilcov products are for EXTERNAL use only, and not recommended for use on broken or cut hands/skin unless advised by your doctor. The use on or by children must be done under Adult Supervision, at your discretion and responsibility, or as directed by your doctor
  28. Kilcov Surface Spray, which is higher than Kilcov Hand Sanitizer in ethanol content, from 70 to 80%.
  29. So why 80%, when the optimal rate is 70%?
  30.  Because when applying to a surface with a spray, a lot more liquid is deposited guaranteeing enough action time for it to work as explained above. Furthermore, benches and surfaces are usually wiped, many times with a damp cloth., which may contain a considerable amount of water. Also, at 80% Kilcov Surface Spray allows penetration and eradication of fatty or oily build-up on that surface, so much so that it the surface clean and oil-free usually in one single application. This is useful in places such as kitchen benches and office desks and some phones that have been used all day, picking up a considerable amount of skin oil and other environmental “grease”. It’s also useful for when really particular persons want to use a warm damp cloth to go over surfaces after Kilcov Surface Spray, for final polish or for other reasons. In this final wipe down, on average a 10% dilution is assumed to take place between the cloth that is damp and the 80% ethanol that is wet on the surface. This in turn will result in an approximate 70% effective ethanol rate, thereby rendering a most effective rate for Kilcov Surface Spray to do its work and do it well.
  31. The Kilcov Surface Spray is for adult use only, and is to be kept out of reach of children.
  32. Kilcov Surface Spray is a powerful Formula 80+ that’s meant for solid surfaces where such surfaces are not affected by a high level alcohol.
  33. An example of varnished surfaces that will definitely be affected by high ethanol would be older furniture with a shellac varnish In fact, one technique of older timer surface restoration that has had the shellac varnish crack and peel, is to use high ethanol that “melts” the flakes and blisters back into a smooth varnish that evaporates dry and perfect once again, turning furniture surfaces to its former glory, as if new… but please experiment at your own discretion!
  34. In any case, when using Kilcov Surface Spray, always try on a small area and test before use. Please be aware that in order to be a powerful spray, high ethanol content is required, where the spraying of plastic bags with printed matter may cause the ink to run, and this ink if it becomes in contact with other objects, may then cause stains, so please use with caution.
  35. Remember to NEVER spray in the direction of children or pets and use common sense, like never use on hands, wear gloves, never spray on yourself or another person or animal, bird, fish or pet, never use near a fire, spark, stove or ANY ignition source, and store below 30 degrees C, tightly closed and with the spray nozzle locked in the “X” position.
  36. Kilcov Surface Spray is a powerful agent which can be used on computer keyboard, desk, glass table, mirrors, plain plastic bags etc, in line with the above cautions. Before use, switch OFF and unplug appliances/equipment, and don’t use on hot equipment or internals of anything. It is a “surface” spray only.
